UnGala post Invite2018

In addition to being UN-demanding of your time, the UN-Gala demanded less of the environment. It reduced the ecological cost of producing an event (electricity, gas, paper/trees, water and more). Supporters were part of the most ecologically sound UN-event possible...an UN-Gala!

Click on the button above to see our UN-Gala Journal which, in keeping with the event’s low ecological footprint goal, is only available online and by eBlast. The only paper we  used was a postcard invitation.

This event supported Van Cortlandt Park Conservancy’s Urban Ecology Teen Internship (Urban Eco-Teens), a year-round program that gives local underserved high school students the opportunity to succeed in their first college experience while concurrently working alongside field professionals. They not only develop usable skills, they develop an understanding of the complexity of natural resource management issues and an awareness of the scope of careers in environmental science.
